Christmas Morning Breakfasts

Christmas is almost here! It’s hard not to fall into the magic of Christmas. All the lights, the songs, the hot cocoa – it really is the most wonderful time of the year! My dream Christmas morning is sleeping in, drinking coffee, eating an already-made breakfast and then opening up gifts with my family in our Christmas pajamas. In reality, my baby or toddler will wake up early, but a girl can dream, right? What I can make reality is having a festive breakfast ready to go when we wake up on Christmas morning. Here are a few Christmas-y and healthy breakfasts that you can make ahead of time and will make your Christmas morning even more magical! I think I’m leaning towards the paleo gingerbread waffles for our Christmas morning breakfast. It uses almond flour which is a staple in my kitchen. It’s a healthier substitution for regular flour and cuts way down on the carbs! We use it for pancakes, muffins and waffles. Whatever you eat on Christmas morning, enjoy your morning and all the blessings around you. Merry Christmas!
