Favorite Wolcott meal: I like lots of our meals but particularly I like the lasagna from the homestyle menu & the cioppino on the diabetic menu

I grew up in St Joseph Missouri & graduated High School in 1969. Back then our Mom's stayed home & we ate home cooked meals every day. I eventually married my high school sweetheart after a stint in the Marine Corps. I was in the last combat unit when the Viet Nam war ended. There were less than 300 Americans there then. Over the years I worked various jobs & started a couple of businesses. Those experiences gave me the background for Wolcott Foods. Patti & I had a farm in Kansas City, Ks & we did petting zoos & pony rides for 36 years. We built a commercial kitchen on the farm for catering to company picnics, local families, & construction workers who were building the Legends Shopping Center. That got us started in the food business. Patti does the petting zoos today & my job is to see that people can have home cooked meals every day.

When I'm not at work: I spend as much of my free time as possible with my beautiful daughter, Adalena. We enjoy cooking, doing outside activities, and cheering on our 49ers!

Favorite part of your job: Cooking meals people enjoy and meeting new clients.

Favorite part of your job: Connecting people with services they need

When I'm not at work: I have served on PTA executive boards in the Turner School District at the elementary, middle, high school, and council levels, in addition to currently serving as President Elect for Kansas PTA. I have one son, TJ, who is a deputy for Wyandotte County. My daughter in law, Rachel, works here at Wolcott as my office admin.

I also serve as Treasurer on the Turner Days Committee, and as the Executive Director of the Turner Foundation, but my true passions are spending time with my two grandsons, Brantley & Taylor, and my 20 year involvement with Bikers Against Child Abuse where I serve as a child primary contact & patched member with the Kaw River, Kansas Chapter.
